End of Year Awards
Our end of year awards night in the club this week brought the curtain down on the 2024 Gaelic4Mothers&Others season. It was a fitting end to a great year where our usual Sunday night training gear was replaced with sparkles and Christmas jumpers. A note to our brilliant coach Aislinn Walsh: advertise drinks tied to training and numbers togging on Sunday evenings will shoot up in the new year.
Highlights of the year included playing in the Leinster and National Gaelic4Mothers&Others and Tadhg O' Fainin blitzes, and a number of friendlies home and away. Thanks to our sponsors GrassChopper (Stephen Taaffe) and CA Partners (Phil O’ Connor) whose support ensured the 30 year old jerseys could finally be retired.
Well done to all the ladies who played their part, donning the Raheny jersey with pride and to all our new recruits who have added so much to the team. Congratulations to our award winners for 2024, although we are all winners……it’s Ga4mas!!

The big winner on the night was the recipient of the inaugural Deirdre Wright player’s player award, Mary.
A very deserving winner of whom we know Deirdre would approve.
